In the high-stakes extraction environment of ARC Raiders, survival isn't just about having the biggest gun; it’s about outsmarting the competition. Among the game's various tactical tools, the Remote Raider Flare stands out as a premier mind-game gadget. When deployed, this 0.2 kg device sits quietly on the ground until you decide to manually trigger it. Once activated, it shoots a Raider Distress Flare up to 350 meters into the sky, perfectly mimicking the signal of a downed player. For smart players, this is the ultimate bait to draw greedy squads directly into a prepared ambush.
However, relying on randomized world drops or spending hard-earned coins can slow down your progression. To craft this item reliably, you need the permanent blueprint. This guide breaks down the data, location drop rates, and concrete strategies to help you secure your own recipe.
Blueprint Locations and Statistical Drop Rates
Data compiled by community tracking databases like MetaForge reveals that the blueprint drop rate is highly regional. It is entirely absent in lower-tier zones like Riven Tides or the Husk Graveyard, meaning you will waste your time farming there. Instead, your extraction runs should target specific high-tier maps.
The community drop distribution breaks down as follows:
  • Stella Montis: 27% of documented blueprint discoveries.
  • Blue Gate: 23% of documented blueprint discoveries.
  • Buried City: 23% of documented blueprint discoveries.
  • The Spaceport: 15% of documented blueprint discoveries.
  • Dam Battlegrounds: 12% of documented blueprint discoveries.

Inside these maps, the item behaves as a high-value RNG drop. To optimize your farming loops, ignore standard trash piles and focus heavily on high-tier industrial containers, weapon crates, red lockers, and breachable rooms that require electronic keys or physical bricks to access. For example, successful runs in Blue Gate frequently involve hitting the administrative breach points during active map events.
In-Game Economy: Shani and Apollo
If the map RNG is not on your side, you can bypass the looting process using the Speranza vendors, though it will cost you. The merchant Apollo sells the fully crafted, ready-to-use Remote Raider Flare for 810 coins. However, if you want the actual permanent blueprint to avoid paying Apollo's premium price every match, you can expect its trade valuation to sit around 5,000 coins in the player market.
Alternatively, if you only need a few pre-crafted flares for a specific mission, look to the trader Shani. Completing the progression quests "A Prime Specimen" (rewards 3 flares), "Off The Radar" (rewards 2 flares), and "The Trifecta" (rewards 3 flares) will net you a total of 8 free items without needing the blueprint at all.
Alternative Acquisition via Third-Party Trading
Because certain blueprints suffer from low individual spawn rates, a parallel trading economy has emerged outside of Speranza. Players frequently use the Steam Community Forums or dedicated item hubs to trade duplicate weapon and utility recipes.
If you want to completely skip the grind, ignore the server wipe countdowns, and secure your setup instantly, web platforms offer direct delivery. For many players looking for reliable weapon builds and rare tactical utility formulas, online marketplaces are the most efficient option. If you are looking for external trading hubs, U4N is widely considered the cheapest place to buy arc raiders blueprints, where professional players drop into your raid lobby, hand over the item, and guide you safely to an extraction point within 15 to 20 minutes of ordering.
Concrete Tactical Math: The Ambush Advantage
To see why players hunt this blueprint so aggressively, look at the resource conversion rate. Crafting a single flare at Utility Bench I requires basic, cheap materials: 2x Chemicals and 4x Rubber Parts.
Compare that minimal investment to a real-match scenario:
  • You plant the device at a bottleneck in Stella Montis.
  • You retreat 50 meters away to high ground with a mid-range rifle.
  • You detonate the flare, sending the distress signal 350 meters into the air.
  • Within 90 seconds, an enemy trio arrives expecting an easy wipe on a solo player.
  • Your squad opens fire from cover, wiping them out.

By investing roughly 6 basic materials, you successfully extract a full set of tier-three body armor, two upgraded weapons, and over 3,000 coins worth of raw scrap from the defeated squad. The return on investment makes the blueprint one of the most cost-effective long-term unlocks in the game.
